Jackson Residential Internet Coverage

Since Jackson is one of the biggest cities in Mississippi, it has plenty to offer in the way of internet plans and companies.

One of the largest networks in Jackson is AT&T. The AT&T DSL network covers all of Jackson, from Tougaloo in the north to Heritage Estates in the south. The fiber network is slightly smaller, but it is being built up throughout the United States.

Cable is provided by Xfinity, which reaches all of Jackson. Coverage is available as far west as Brookhollow, as far east as Jackson Country Club, as far north as North Colony, and as far south as McCluer Road.

Currently, TW Telecom serves a few central neighborhoods, including Hightower, Washington Addition, and Scotland Heights.

Through Megagate Broadband, coverage is offered in the northern and eastern parts of Jackson. Coverage stops short of southwestern neighborhoods like Maddox Road, Englewood, and Woodville Heights.

Dixie-Net serves parts of western Jackson, including Alta Woods and Western Hills in the south, as well as Presidential Hills and Magnolia Terrace in the north.

Last, the InLine network offers service to the entirety of Jackson.

Customer reviews of internet providers in T-Mobile Home Internet

Speed:

William W | 06-30-2015

High speed typically not available during peek times. Service frequently disrupted and constantly dropped to lower speed connection. Cost just for high speed internet is the same as an internet bundle including tv (HBO, MAX and STARZ included) and a land line (house phone). They will do anything to keep you from getting HULU I guess. Initial set-up took several months to get fixed. They hire out to contractors who care as little about customer service as Xfinity themselves. Calling the CEO is the only way I could get help. During peek times and on weekends your T-Mobile hot spot will likely be faster and more reliable. Check facebook and read countless more horror stories on their page. Do not get Xfinity.
